Most gifts, once sent, can't be cancelled or refunded — we begin working on your gift right away, and that immediacy is part of what lets us guarantee it reaches the Lister. (See: Can I cancel or change my gift after I've sent it?)
Refunds are issued in a few specific situations: if a gift can't be fulfilled, if there's a merchant or delivery error, or where required by law.
If the Lister chooses to return your gift instead, that follows our Returns & Exchanges policy and results in Gift Credit for the Lister rather than a refund to you — the merchant's refund is what funds that credit.
For the full picture of how we handle every exception, including items that can't be fulfilled at all, see Gift Credit & How We Handle Order Exceptions.
If we do issue a refund to you, you'll receive a notification and can expect the funds back in your account within 5–10 business days.
In almost all cases, our service fee is non-refundable, given the nature of the work already completed on your behalf.
