At LuxyList, we understand that some desired gifts go beyond the ordinary and venture into the realm of the unique and extraordinary. Our gift ordering service is tailored for those special, one-of-a-kind requests that reflect your individual style and preferences. Given the distinct nature of these orders, they often require more time and personal attention to detail.


When you place this type of gift order through LuxyList, we initiate the process by purchasing the item from the vendor on your behalf. This is where our role in the creation of your custom piece begins. Once the purchase is complete, we then facilitate a direct connection between you and the maker. This crucial step ensures that any specific details, adjustments, or personal touches you wish to include are communicated directly and effectively.


This hands-on approach allows for a more personalized and satisfying experience, as you engage directly with the creator of your bespoke item. It also ensures that your vision is realized just as you imagined, with the added assurance that LuxyList is here to support you every step of the way.



Important Considerations


  • We can't purchase these types of items through Etsy, nor can we purchase Etsy Gift Cards - if the gift you would like is on Etsy, we encourage you to search for a direct site for the Vendor. See more info below regarding Etsy
  • We recommend checking with the vendor ahead of time to ensure they are ok with a 3rd party buyer


You are still able to list these items and if gifted here is how we handle the process:


  • We will purchase the gift and connect the lister directly with the vendor to handle any ongoing communications and delivery. Please note once the item is purchased from the vendor, we set this order to complete and the lister is responsible for any issue that may arise.
  • If we are unable to connect directly with the merchant, we will check to see if a Gift Card is available for the selected merchant only and purchase that instead.
  • If no Gift card is available, we will pass the funds along to you directly via LuxyCredits

Back Orders, Pre-Orders, Any order taking longer than 30 days to Deliver

At LuxyList, we are committed to ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery experience. However, due to the nature of our service model, we are currently unable to accommodate pre-orders, back-orders, or any orders where delivery is expected to exceed 30 days. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity and timeliness of our service, ensuring that all our customers receive their gifts within a reasonable and predictable timeframe. We understand the excitement and anticipation that comes with ordering high-end products, and we strive to meet these expectations without undue delays. 


For items with extended delivery periods, we will either:


  • If the merchant is a small boutique vendor, we will attempt to put you in touch directly with them after purchase.
  • Purchase a gift card for the vendor in lieu of the item and with your gift card you will be able to purchase from the retailer to ensure you receive your desired product as soon as it becomes available.  
  • If a gift card is unavailable, we will issue you LuxyCredits to choose another item from your list.


We can not purchase gifts through Etsy

We will work directly with the maker/creator/crafter/vendor if they have a site outside of Etsy, and recommend using the vendor's direct site when adding items to your list.
