Gift Cards

At LuxyList, our dedication lies in delivering a smooth and enjoyable gifting experience. In light of the complexities surrounding Anti-Money Laundering and Financial regulations, we choose to adopt a cautious and informed approach regarding gift card purchases. While these regulations may not directly impose certain restrictions, we believe in upholding high standards for our operations as a third-party buyer. This proactive stance sometimes presents challenges with gift card orders, including potential cancellations by merchants, to ensure compliance and maintain the integrity of our service.

Our role as a gifting service is to facilitate the sending of personally selected items from fans to recipients. We are not equipped to function as a money transfer service. Most e-gift cards can be easily and directly gifted by purchasing online and sharing the claim code, often without requiring any personal information.

Our policies for gift card purchases are as follows:

• Experienced based gift cards are ok as long as they do not exceed $500USD (Spa day, Museum, Dining etc...)
• We cannot process Gift Card orders for:
  • Retail vendors
  • Travel or Accommodation merchants (Uber/Lyft, Airlines, Airbnb, Hotels)
  • Food Delivery apps (doordash, gloveo, uber eats)
  • VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, or similar credit card-backed gift cards
• Orders requiring account creation for gift card purchases are beyond our scope.
• We cannot process multiple gift cards from the same vendor in a single order.
• We limit gift card orders to a maximum of two per transaction.
• Responsibility for understanding terms and conditions of any gift card lies with the lister.

Here's how we handle gift card requests:

• In cases where the merchant cancels or we are unable to fulfill a gift card order, we will issue LuxyCredits equivalent to the value of the gift card, including any taxes and shipping fees. 
• Please note that our service fee will be retained.
