At LuxyList, we are dedicated personal shoppers who handle each gift request with care and attention. Our fees reflect the personalized service we provide throughout your gifting journey.

How Pricing Works When You Add Items

When you add an item to your LuxyList, you provide (or the system populates from your link):

• Item price - The cost of the gift itself

We then add:

• Estimated shipping - A flat rate to cover delivery costs
• Estimated taxes (US only) - Based on your location

These three amounts combined become the total amount available to make the purchase.

Our Fee Structure

Flat Rate Shipping Fee

• $10 USD for US addresses
• $15 USD for non-US addresses

This estimated shipping fee is included in the total amount allocated for the gift purchase to ensure we have sufficient funds to complete delivery, regardless of the merchant's shipping policies.

Important: Even when merchants advertise "free shipping," this is often conditional (minimum purchase amounts, promotional periods, specific regions, or member benefits). Our shipping estimate ensures we can complete your purchase regardless of these variables.

Estimated Taxes (US addresses only)

We add estimated taxes based on your shipping location. This amount is incorporated into the total allocated for the gift purchase.

15% Service Fee

This fee supports the LuxyList platform and covers:

• Technical infrastructure and support
• Operational costs
• Order review and verification
• Merchant coordination
• Payment processing
• Customer service
• Fair compensation for our team who work to make your gifting dreams come true

When Fees Are Charged

At Checkout From LuxyList: When a gift is purchased, the amount paid includes:

• Item value (as listed on your wishlist)
• Estimated shipping
• Estimated taxes (if applicable)
• 15% service fee

At Purchase From Your Selected Merchant: When we purchase your gift from the merchant, we use the funds provided by the gifter. The actual merchant costs may differ slightly from estimates due to:

• Price changes
• Actual vs. estimated shipping costs
• Actual vs. estimated tax amounts
• Currency conversion fluctuations (for international orders)

• We are not a store: We purchase items from the merchants you select. Final costs are subject to the merchant's pricing, shipping, and availability at the time of purchase.
• Estimates ensure sufficient funds: The shipping and tax estimates ensure we have sufficient funds available to complete your purchase, even if merchant policies or costs change between when you add an item and when it's gifted.
