When a gifter makes a purchase from our site, they are required to agree to the following:
I understand that LuxyList does not hold product inventory or control when merchants process, ship, or deliver gift orders.
LuxyList does not coordinate delivery of packages. I understand any issues with delivery or receiving a gift on time that is caused by the carrier is outside the control of LuxyList and must be directed to the carrier for solution by the lister
There are no refunds or cancellations after the gift order is placed.
If a Gifter issues a chargeback, we will take every reasonable step to find an amicable solution. If we are unable to reach a solution with the Gifter, we will dispute the chargeback and cooperate with the Gifter's bank in the investigation.
During the course of the investigation, we will submit evidence including info about our services, the products that were ordered, and any communication with the Gifter. At no point will we provide any info about the Lister the gift was sent to.
In all cases, we take steps to prevent the Gifter from using our services again.
Will I need to return my gifts if a gifter makes a chargeback?
It depends on the amount in question but most likely yes. When a gifter makes a chargeback the monies paid for the gift are taken from our account, meaning the gift has not been paid for. However, if in the course of the dispute, the ruling is in our favor, we will grant you Luxy Credit for the full value of the gift or re-order the gift on your behalf.
If I'm unhappy with my gift, can I tell my Gifter to issue a chargeback?
No. Under no circumstances should you encourage your Gifters to issue chargebacks for purchases. We take threats of chargeback seriously. Listers who tell their Gifters to issue chargebacks, or threaten to tell their gifters to issue chargebacks may have their accounts frozen and/or suspended.
