Why we need your Real Name info

We've made 1000's of purchases on behalf of our customers, so we understand deeply that merchants tend to be a little more risk aware when a 3rd party is making a purchase, meaning the billing and shipping are different. We also know that all merchants have their own systems in place for detecting fraud and keeping a close eye on orders.

At LuxyList, we're all about bringing you top-tier service, nurturing our merchant relationships, and providing a seamless gifting experience.

Therefor, when we come across a Gift request for someone who has only provided us with initials, an alias, po box, or business address, we will put the order on hold and reach out to request the info needed to complete the order.

Yes we need your real name as it appears on your ID...

One reason for this is that our business is built on seamless merchant relationships and the merchants we deal with require real name info for shipping. This holds particularly true with luxury brand retailers.

Additionally, Federal US regulation requires real name usage for shipping anything either via USPS or private couriers.

Also, in case of a missed delivery, a valid ID is required by the courier at the time of pickup. If your name on the package does not match to the name on your ID, you will be unable to collect your parcel.

Lastly, most merchants insure their packages against loss and theft and if a stage name has been used, the insurance becomes null and void.

It's important to note that LuxyList is not responsible for the secure delivery of your gifts and you understand that providing us with inaccurate info may lead to delays and in some cases no gift at all.

Please note, some merchants have strict no refund policies as a result of inaccurate info, and or undeliverable items. You are responsible for understanding the policies of the merchants you add gift items from.

Your safety and security is of vital importance to us, and we're all about making sure your info is used only for securing those successful gift orders.
